Welcome, everybody to the writing program of GLPS 19!
As you already know, my name is Neil, and I'm your writing teacher during the camp. We've already introduced ourselves to each other, so I'll use this post to go over some of the most boring parts of my life.
This is the first time I've taught at the GLPS camp even though I'm beginning my fifth year of teaching here at Korean Minjok Leadership Academy (KMLA). I'm a member of our very excellent Department of Foreign Languages (which includes not only English, but also French, Spanish, and Chinese). Through every fault of my own, however, I am only really fluent in English.
I spend most of my time at KMLA teaching the subjects of English literature, film studies, and English composition. I love my job!
I've lived in Korea for many years and have a lovely family to share my life with. At home, I love to spend my time making Lego models with my two sons (the last model we made together was a Star Wars X-Wing fighter). I also enjoy cooking and will do so whenever the opportunity presents itself.
I'm really looking forward to the rest of the camp and getting to know all of you much better.
